Possible to have a mortgage loan where homeowners ins. is not escrowed ?

My sister has her mortgage with Bank of America. She swears she pays $40 a month for homeowners insurance – seperate from the mortgage check. I guess she sends State Farm a payment every month.
Have you ever heard of a mortgage where your payment is NOT included and escrowed?

I’m claiming bankruptcy because I have over 100,000$ worth in Medical Bills (1/2 of em are mine and I’ve never had insurance). Basically the time has come for me to get myself a car. Did your mortgage company do anything illegal to make it appear that you were or are delinquent in paying your mortgage? Did they post your payment late, fail to pay your homeowner insurance, charge unwarranted late fees, sent reports to credit reporting agencies saying you were late on your payment(s). These are just a few of the tactics that a mortgage company or mortgage loan servicer might use to declare that you are in default on your loan and either foreclose or force you into bankruptcy.
I am asking this question because I think I have been victimizes by my mortgage company and I need to know if I am the only person who has experienced this abusive behaivour.

Student Loan deal with my Parents?

Hi all,

I’m in kind of a pickle. My finaid package came in for school, and I need $16,000 to make up the difference to pay tuition. My parents originally refused to cosign, and since then I’ve been declined loan after loan because i have no credit and no cosigner. Thing is, they agreed to give me $3,000 for the year, but not cosign a loan.
SO, in order to get approved for a loan, I NEED a cosigner. I was thinking of striking up a deal with my parents: Keep the $3,000 as “insurance” for my loan. If I fall back on a payment or can’t find a job 6 mo. after graduating next year, they can use that money to pay the loan if the loan company goes after them.
How does this sound? Would you do it if your child was a senior in college and ready to graduate in a year?

Just some extra info.

I work part-time in the summer and I just got a second job. I’m very savvy with money and save most of what I earn. There is no logical explanation for this other than my parents are crazy.

same agents and brokers sold my home & with proceeds convinced me of buying four home asssuring me it would be a great investment properties would pay off themself. if i leased them .i question my qualifying for the loan, assured me i would & make the payments if not less equal to the mortgage& rent amount,i invested 175,000 trusting them gave what they asked me for infomation for loan approval, returned informing it would look better if i had co signers knowing full well they would not be contributing to the mortgage payment,they forgedmy signature,bal on my bank stmt.made up false check stub stated i made alot more,then at closing the numbers were not acceptable i wouldnt sign, they change the numbers to acceptable, i signed then when my payment book came it was back to the unacceptable amount, they promised to give me help of 2000 dollars a month because they felt so bad and didfor 2 mos. now in forecloser and insurance says i committed mortgage fraud! what can i do?
