I bank with Natwest and got the loan from them to. I have about £500c in bank at the moment and a £2.5k overdraft limit. I dont know if it would be cheaper for me to get a larger overdraft limit and always try and keep it in credit to pay off my loan with what I can?

Can an Unemployed Person with Good Credit Cosign on a Secured Loan?

My fiance and I are looking to purchase a small place ($9,000), and we have the money, but it’s all we got. In order to keep from spending it all we intend to get a secured loan for $9,000 and make payments. The only problem being I have bad credit and my fiance has no credit. Her mom on the other hand has good credit, but is currently unemployed and receiving unemployment benefits. Will the bank let her cosign on a loan since she has good credit and owns her home, or will they automatically disqualify her for being unemployed?

Bad credit–need personal loan–will my bank foot it?

I am 25 yrs. old and looking to take out a 6,500 dollar loan. I have poor credit and can’t seem to get this loan anywhere through online. However, I earn 1600 dollars per month with secure job and would be able to pay off the loan no problem. Is it possible that by me going in and speaking with a representative, my bank could foot me the loan? My only other collateral is a 401k which is less than 500 dollars so far because it just started the beginning of last January (07′).

Bank loan or debt consolidation program for credit card payoff?

Due to a family tragedy, my husband and I are currently in $26,000 of credit card debt. All of the payments are current and the cards are paid on time with the accounts still open (we are not still charging, though). We are looking to seriously pay this down before the interest eats us alive. My husband wants to take out a bank loan and pay the cards off that way, but I am wondering about the debt consolidation programs you hear about (I know some of those are scams and some are real). Any advice or experience?

I know you have to pay on time and keep the balances low. But Im curious can it be done in a few months or does it take years. Also If you have low balance loans with very low balances, will addition secured loans help your credit score?
