In desperate need of a homeowner guarantor to get £2500 loan?
ByAm willing to up loan to £3000 and give guarantor £500 free cash.
Am good for the repayments and can prove it. Just have a woeful credit score having moved around and changed jobs a lot and none of my friends or family are homeowners.
Easiest £500 if prepared to back me! Any takers?
Thanks for help so far. My desperation is that I need the money to pay off some rent arrears that we’ve foolishly allowed to build up.

Nooooo! Don’t take up an offer from a total stranger, you could be talking to a loan shark type of person, or any dishonest individual, who will come after you for more than was originally agreed!

I hear your desperation, but I doubt anyone on here will offer to help.
Perhaps you can look at ways to improve your credit score? Such as:
- Are you on the electoral register? If not this can seriously affect your rating – ring your local council for a form.
- You can add a 200 word statement to your credit report explaining why you have moved house / jobs so much, which will be reviewed when companies consider offering you credit.
- Remember that sometimes being a good payer works against you (particularly during this blimmin recession), as companies realise you always make repayments on time, and therefore won’t be able to make much money from you in charges and late payment fees!
- Do have a look at your actual report and check there isn’t anything on there that shouldn’t be. try who can offer further help in improving your credit score. I think for something like £5.99 you can view your actual score.

Never be a lender or borrower!! pay your own way was the lesson I was told.
Being a guarantor means you and not the borrower are taking out the loan so this is something tat should NOT be take up by any one other than for their own children and only for tenancies.
if someone needs a guarantor for the loan it means they are considered a very bad risk and should be avoided even by family.
Sorry in your circumstance either put off the purchase (i.e put the money to save for it plus you save the £500 and interest so you can get a much better one in a year or so) or find a loan that does not require a guarantor.
