cheap loans

I am going to school online and I receive financial aid and loans from sallie mae. When the loans are disbused out I have nothing left and I still owe the school a monthly payment. Any suggestions of what would be a better choice? Could I applt for more loans from Federal? or should I find a cheaper school?

On line schools are notoriously more expensive than state colleges and universities. Only private universities, like Stanford, are more expensive. They are also harder to pin down when you need to talk to your professor. Personally, I would switch to a state school. Your experience will be better by far.
You won’t be so isolated, either.

You could get a private loan from Sallie Mae. Just ask them for the application and then you can apply for one. The only catch is that it’s not a federal subsidized loan or anything like that so the interest is higher.

Talk to your school adviser and see what they might recommend you do. I know your on line but even on line courses have someone who can advise you.
