First, please Report all of the online loan SPAM/SCAM answers you’ll get. No reputable lender would do business by advertising on Y!A and using a generic email address.
Short answer: yes.
You begin the process with FAFSA. You have to start there, so get going on it. The application process is FREE, so don’t let yourself get suckered in to paying anyone to do it for you.
Then, get connected with the Financial Aid office where you’ll be going to school. They are the channel through which all of your financial aid will flow anyway, so they’ll be the ones who know what’s available to you. That will include grants, scholarships, and work study.
