How many of you are cheap and people think youre poor?

Seriously, its both sad and insulting for people to make assumptions. I think Ive been insulted by some peasant just because Im thrifty and asked how much something was. My money mantra: buy excellent quality items at the lowest possible price. Only peasants with mushy, jellyfish brains allow themselves to be ripped off. Yes I am a cheap hoarder, taught to keep the funds away as long as I can. Why not save money when its possible? My family’s very shrewd with their humble funds, even with the money they get from tenants living and farming on my great-great-grandparents’ land. I know there are people who spend a lot using credit cards and loans but have no money in the bank, and people think theyre wealthy, but I just feel sorry for them. As for myself, well Im good and average, working to feel useful and occupied. Flaunting ones money is just asking to be robbed, but I guess there are people who would risk it. Im not just one of them.

I have a job but I like to save money and I can’t stand paying retail prices when I know I can pay less somewhere else or some other time. Black Friday is my favorite holiday because I can buy all the electronics I want for great prices.
You might like these websites…I visit slickdeals every day. People make posts about good deals on great products in the forums, other people rate and comment on the quality of the product or their experience with the seller. The main page consists of deals that the moderators select to be great deals of the day. Slickdeals seems to focus on electronic deals but there’re a lot of other deals if you visit the forums.
It’s hard to save money after you work hard unless you have a reason to save money (“the future” is not that good of a reason for me). Right now I’m a college student and I like to save my hard-earned money but it’s pointless to do nothing but save…spend a little and have some fun, if you always save then it’s almost like you’re working for little reason.
